Job Coach
As a Job Coach, you will provide one-on-one support at community job sites, helping individuals learn job tasks, develop workplace skills, overcome barriers, and build confidence in their abilities. You will serve as a mentor, advocate, and professional liaison between participants and employers while promoting independence and long-term success in the workplace.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support and coaching at community employment sites.
- Teach and reinforce job-specific tasks and workplace expectations.
- Help individuals develop confidence, independence, and problem-solving skills.
- Encourage positive workplace behaviors, professionalism, and communication.
- Identify participant strengths and build upon those strengths to support success.
- Assist individuals in learning new tasks while gradually reducing support when appropriate.
- Serve as a professional liaison between employers, supervisors, and participants.
- Maintain positive relationships with business partners and workplace teams.
- Ensure compliance with employer policies, procedures, and expectations.
- Identify barriers to workplace success and develop practical solutions.
- Support employers in creating inclusive and welcoming work environments.
- Monitor participant safety and well-being while on the job.
- Address concerns promptly and communicate issues to Dutton Farm leadership.
- Follow all Dutton Farm and employer safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, progress notes, and employment documentation.
- Monitor and evaluate progress toward employment goals.
- Provide regular updates regarding participant performance and growth.
- Complete required reports according to Dutton Farm policies and procedures.
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and team collaboration meetings.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience working with individuals with disabilities, human services, education, caregiving, workforce development, or a related field.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to communicate effectively with participants, families, employers, and team members.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required trainings and certifications.
- Commitment to Dutton Farm's mission of empowering adults with disabilities to live lives of purpose, inclusion, and dignity.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, and reaching throughout the workday.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
