Dutton Farm Receives Grant from MDRT Foundation

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich –Dutton Farm, behavioral health service provider of Oakland County, MI committed to empowering adults with disabilities, received a $3,500 grant from the MDRT Foundation in support of their Adult Education program.
The Million Dollar Round Table Foundation gives to charitable organizations worldwide, demonstrating the generosity, service, and impact of MDRT member-endorsed grants to over 350 charitable organizations worldwide.
Dutton Farm assists adults with disabilities in developing their unique talents , helping them become more active in their communities through Workforce Development, Community Involvement, and Adult Education.
Dutton Farm ’s CEO Jenny Brown said, “MDRT’s grant provides needed support to a population historically overlooked.”
Dutton Farm’s Adult Education program will utilize the grant to provide skill building and prevocational learning opportunities for adults with disabilities through horticulture and animal care, focusing on the skills of consistency, nurturance, detail, and understanding.
“Adults with disabilities deserve the chance to live meaningful lives in their communities, and we’re committed to helping them achieve their goals,” said Brown.
